Lets just start this out right. Those little shops that cater to hipsters and decide the rest of don’t matter? They mostly suck. At best they’re cool only in that ironic hipster kinda way. And again, lets be honest, that isn’t a good thing.
But in the case of Tigertree it’s a wonderful thing. It’s not that really cater to hipsters per say, but it does have a sort of, lets say vibe. Tigertree is one of those rare stores that has a little of everything, from the skinny ties and thin brimmed hats on the rack, to the ladies carefully chosen garments and then there’s the small items like soap dishes, interesting cards and pens, the watches and… Well you get the idea. All this? Only the first floor. Tigertree has a nice little loft with oddities that you’ll simply want to have for your home.

Tigertree was founded by Mr Josh Quinn and his wife Niki. While they had intended only to start a shop for their own line of products entitled Maxine Dear, the store quickly developed into a collection of things they loved. This wonderful little shop very nearly could have been lost to us, however, it was never the Quinn’s intention to set down roots here in Columbus, in fact it was but a stop on their way to LA. When I spoke with Josh he said “We just loved it here.” and so here they stayed and we’re glad they did.
