Well We of course have a new writer, and hopefully we'll be hearing from her soon, but beyond that I have a story on some Sorel boots, an interview with the incredible Jerrell Conner, who is the author of a fantastic Graphic novel series, some more stuff from our NC Pets area, and the return of my column "Gear Bag" .

In Gear Bag I'll be talking about the gear I take with me on every adventure, the bag I choose, and what's inside. I own all this gear and it's all been through a lot, but it all has held up. There's some really cool stuff in this piece, I think you'll all like it.

On another note, You'll also be getting something brand new here at NC, Podcasts. We're in the process of preparing for them now, and should be recording our first one this week, hopefully at launch, but at least in the near future you'll be able to download them via iTunes as well.

All in all, some very cool stuff!
