Most people I assume know this but Bucky as Cap uses a hand gun, now I noticed this awhile back, but does anyone else think it's odd that he uses a Luger? This is a Nazi handgun from WWII and I find it odd that Bucky who killed hundreds of those German Nazi scums would use a Nazi handgun. . . . Is it just me?

He's also pretty fond of carrying that teched out M-16 with the grenade launcher (not so much as Cap but more as the Winter Soldier). At least he's not packing an AK-47 anymore.

Looks like a toggle locked,re-coil operated, semi-automatic P08 Luger…that's a respectable pistol. think it is, hard to tell depends on who draws, but still, outdated by more then half a century. I want to see him with a Glock lol you can run those over with tanks pick them up and start shooting

best answer i can think of is that its a hat-tip. in the very old comics Bucky used alot
of German firearms, frequently a luger.

maybe he's making some kind of a statement. it would be interesting to find out why he chose
that exact weapon in detail, as it has someobvious bearing on his past.
