Convention season is about to kick into high gear here in the Dayton/Springfield/Columbus Ohio area.

Sunday March 7th-Buckeye Comic Con. A great one day show. Tons of great books. Check out my friend Jeff Patrick at the Famous Funnies booth. He always has great deals on bronze age Marvel books….my favorite. I will be covering the show with good friend Chris Metzger for the Comic Related website. Another good friend and an excellent artist Sean Forney will be one the show's guests so if you missed Sean at his recent appearance at Main Street Comics and Games check him out here. First time at this location. Fort Rapids west of Columbus right off of I-70.

Sunday March 14th-Cosmic Comic Con Urbana Ohio-A Brand New Show! Artist Uko Smith and writer Chad Lambert will be guests at this show. I also believe Twilight Star Studios will have a table at this show and so will Main Street Comics and Games. This is the first comic convention in Urbana…..EVER!!!!!

Sunday April 11th-Gem City Comic Con!!!!! One of the best one day shows you will ever find anywhere celebrates it's fifth anniversary in Dayton Ohio…the Wright State UniversityStudent Union. One of the featured guests this year is Jim Valetino…..co-founder of Image comics, writer and artist of the 1990's Guardians of the Galaxy series for Marvel Comics and created, wrote, and illustrated Shadowhawk for Image. Comic Related will be covering the show in force. Main Street Comics and Games will have a table at the show. There will be a special edition of New Comic Day in the program guide and a live auction hosted by Frank Raynor and I that benefits the Hero Inititave.

April 24th &25th-S.P.A.C.E. (Small Prees and Altenative Comic Expo) in Columbus Ohio. A really great show! Check out Comic Related and hundreds of indy and small press creators. Freestyle Komics will be attendance as will Studio Akumakaze!

Free Comic Book Day May 1st.-Sean Forney and Bryan "Stratos" Borgman will be at Main Street Comics and Games in Springfield Ohio to help us celebrate National Comic Book Geek Day!!!!!!
