So since we posted the video Undercity, we’ve had a lot of questions on what type of gear one would take on an Urbex excursion. While we here at Necessary Cool would never condone such an adventure, we do know what gear we would use if we were to ever have gone on such a venture. Watch this week as we share the best gear in our closets over the few days.

We’re taking a few days off to party it up during the holiday’s, and while we do so, our site is getting a server upgrade to handle the thousands of new readers we’ve gained over the last few months. (Thanks for that by the way guys)

It’s been 9 years since the 2001 terrorist attacks on The World Trade Center. Let us never forget the sacrifice by those brave heroes who gave their lives to help our fellow Americans on that day. Today we remember. NC

After a week of testing we’re always excited to com back and talk about all the sweet gear we’ve just been playing with, among the many items tested the past week were brand new boots/shoes from Teva, Merrell, and The North Face, lighting from Princeton Tec, packs from North Face and Marmot, new items from Retro 1951, iPhone/iPad cases from OtterBox, and a fantastic poly-fill jacket from Merrell… Well that what we tested in the first few days anyway. Expect to see plenty of brand new content as we get into gear season. This has been a huge year, but we’re now working with over 40 brands, so the coming Fall/Winter season will be even bigger then the last.
