Martin Aircraft Company wants to make our dreams of owning our own jet-pack come true. While it may cost us $100k to get our hands on one, these jet-packs are far from perfect for the price.
Huckberry BaseCamp X Pathfinder Exclusive
For the next 6 days you can get one of these exclusive very limited run axe designs from BaseCamp X and the members only shopping site Huckberry. Now take into account their working with one of our favorite brands (and sponsor of our upcoming backpacking trip) BaseCamp X and you've got ...

There’s no hiding how amazingly awesome this bike is. Designed for the same wilderness as mountain bikers explore, this monster of a bike cranks out 600 Watts via a single or five sized electric battery pack. Sure you can peddle this, but wouldn’t you rather run it at it’s top speed of 20mph? Yeah we thought so. Other wicked features include, but are not limited too: 20×8 inch tubeless tires, carbon fiber seatpost and handle bars and hydraulic disc brakes. Starting at $5500. NC

Subaru’s new Mediocrity viral marketing campaign may not be for a real car, but it is great advertising. Making the claim that you’ll buy the 2011 Mediocrity because you want a four door that lacks class and a personality of it’s own. The point of these ad campaigns? To set apart the new Legacy as not just another four door. Fun fact: The car used in these promotions is in fact a Kia Optima. Read on for the video spots. NC

Charles Samuel Greenwood will forever be remembered as the engineer who created the Flintstones car. With four people cranking, this ridiculous looking electric vehicle can travel up to 20 MPH. Of course you can also go this fast (faster) in a go cart, heck you go this fast coasting a golf cart down a hill, but you can do both of these things much less then it would cost you do it in this odd contraption. Greenwood’s car will cost you about $15,500 and you’ll have to find three other people who want to crank along side of you… at almost 20 MPH. Hard to believe he’s been working on this since the 1960′s. Link.NC
Editors Note: I really struggled with putting this in the motorsports category, but then I remember we’d just added humor… I think it balances itself out in the end…
