They had as at the name Epic, but then we noticed that not only is this a great name, it’s a great knife. With a rock solid build, perfect size, and comfortable grip, this knife looks good and performs well. We’d dig a non serrated version as an option, but that’s really all we have to complain about.

The Gerber Epic’s compact size doesn’t mean it sacrifices features, it’s able to be locked in its sheath facing tip up or down, it features a bottles opener, reversible pocket clip and a textured glass-filled nylon grip. It’s comfort, build, and quality are hard to match at it’s relatively low price point, making this a great value. 9/10. $55. NC
