Gerber and Bear Grylls teamed up to create the ultimate survival knife. With a half-serrated, high carbon blade, emergency whistle lanyard, stainless steel pommel, and of course included extras like a Survival Guide by Bear himself, a diamond sharpener, and a fire starter. But that’s not all, this new partnership doesn’t stop at one knife, more gear is coming…

According to a recent press release from Gerber, the new partnership will bring a whole new line of products to the already massive production line up  from Gerber.

Bear Grylls will be working with Gerber to create a whole line of tools, knives and gear, all custom designed for this series, will begin its launch in October 2010 with the Ultimate Knife, and the full line will be available sometime around February 2011. NC
