Our good friend Rob Smettem the Director of Marketing over at XSMG World dropped me a line not long ago to let us know the latest, here’s what he had to say…
“We launched the new Interceptor (military vesrion) at the Dsei in London – the world’s biggest defence (ok defense in the US) and security show, and well, even if we say so ourselves, we kind of stole the show. There was a small dock area where we could demonstrate the boat, and the normal 5 mph speed limit was temporarily suspended for the event. We got over 70 mph, literally feet from the spectators.”

“the Interceptor has a remote controlled concealed 50 cal machine gun, when wanted it rises out of the cabin area – ready to fire in 15 seconds. Operated from the C2 seat (command and control) inside the cockpit with stabilised infrared and night vision camera, and laser guided targetting….”
He then added, “It’s a real James Bond toy!”
