When shopping for a climbing shoe you need to look for comfort, feel, range and grip. Without any doubt these fantastic shoes from Five Ten are a good choice. Every climber has their own shoe they prefer, but I think every climber can enjoy what this shoe has to offer. Very Cool.

“New for 2007, the Gambit started out as a male-companion to our popular and successful women’s Siren. Featuring our highly-acclaimed Stealth Onyxx rubber for unbeatable friction and durability, the Gambit features a perforated synthetic upper that breaths to keep feet cooler and more comfortable. The perforated synthetic stretches just enough to mold to your foot, and provides an extremely comfortable, precise fit. The Gambit is perfect for climbs up to the 5.11 range, and is the best choice for intermediate to advanced climbers seeking high performance, versatility, and comfort in a lace up shoe that excels on the rock or in the gym.”-Five Ten’s Website

Check out the site for updates on the progress of DT 2.0, like a new style that makes it look better as well as other improvements. Also I just asked the founder of Destroy Today via Twitter, and he confirmed that 2.0 would feature basics like spellcheck! Looks like things are shaping up and Tweetdeck may have some competition on the way.
