Looks like a hit to me! I’m wondering though, with the talk of a sequel to Van Helsing way back when, is this going to be in the same continuity as Van Helsing or is this a reboot of sorts? I’m guessing reboot, as this has none of the same actors, what do you think?

Since my first visit to Hi-Rez Studios, I’ve maintained intermitant contact with the staff and tried to participate in the development and viral marketing of Global Agenda. I attended Hi-Rez’s “Nerd Up” as a guest speaker, had some fun at their Dragon*Con LAN party, and I aggravate David Tyler, one of the game developers that happens to be on Twitter, pretty regularly. While I am not able to drive to Hi-Rez Studios’ main office in Alpharetta, Georgia to participate in weekly, in-house testing sessions, I am a part of their closed beta testing program, and that’s what this article is all about.

I spent some time with one of these recently and I have to say…. This is a great Macbook. I wasn’t looking forward to this, since I was a big fan of the aluminum body Macbook, but yet again Steve proves he knows more then us.

Priced at $999, this is an amazing deal in the Macbook family. Nice large backlit LED display (12×800=13.3″), 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Non skid bottom, 7 hour battery, iSight, Nvidia 9400M graphics, the updated Mag-Safe power cable, Etc, Etc, Insert more awesome features here. Pretty much this is an VERY COOL way to jump into the wonderful world of Mac.

Looking for a barge that looks like something My Favorite Martian would have used?  Well the Interactive Recreational Entertainment Vessel may just fit the bill. With an electric motor with up to 10 hours of battery capacity this barge will keep you afloat with onboard storage bins, optional audio system (MP3 ability, Stereo 500 Watt Speakers, Etc), a built in umbrella, and other awesome accessories.

Pretty much if the Jetson’s had a floating barge, this would be it. VERY COOL.

It’s a street lamp for your home. While it may seem like a bit of a weird touch to your living room, it’s perfect for a art or photography studio, or even for a modern apartment flat. However with a $2400 price tag it’s not for college students (unless they’re filthy rich haha yeah right). In any case though this is pretty Cool is you can pay the price.

Marvels heroes get a new scale (3 1/2 inch) fully articulated and odd ball lesser known heroes and villains such as Union Jack and Guardian (above), as well as exclusive box sets like the Invaders (below).

Hasbro promises this will be “the most expansive Marvel line ever”. These are quickly becoming hot items for collectors and with good reason, the detail is great and Hasbro is well on it way to fulfilling their promise by putting out over 20 of these figures so far, featuring everyone from Spider-Man and Namor to Moon Knight.

Sure Halo is cool, but compared to Gears of War it’s kids play. Gears of War has that war like intensity that games like Halo and GoW should have. And like the game and the comics, these toys from Neca have that same gritty feeling. (Note the bloody details on the Lancer)

Fully posable with accessories that fit each figure modal, the 5th series is hitting selves now and nothing will look more intense then a Ticker and Marcus going to war on your desk. Necessary for Cogs and Very Cool for those who want a little more extreme desk toy. Bottom line? Gears of War action figures from Neca Toys are detailed, bloody & freaking awesome.

Want to see more? Jump for more figures or go to Neca to see the full line. Read more »
