Alright so maybe we won’t see a crossover event like Donald Duck in Deadpool anytime soon (Sorry Chase, maybe Avengers and Rescue Rangers? or Iron Man and Gizmo Duck?), but it does look like Disney is all ready to buy out Marvel. (To read the whole story click HERE)Is this good? Well DC sold their soul to WB a long time ago, and that hasn’t turned out to be bad yet, sure they made Catwoman and Batman and Robin, but they also made Emmy Award winning cartoons like Batman and Justice league. And one huge thing no one is thinking about is unlike a lot of people out there, Disney has taken great care to protect the integrity of their characters. Think about Tailspin, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck Etc, they updated and redesigned franchises that needed it without ruining them. With Marvel already legendary for taking risks and moving forward, this could work out very well for fans. Read more »

Quentin Tarantino’s latest creation, “Inglorious Basterds” is hands down his greatest work since pulp fiction. In a time in which the box office is filled nothing more than dried up soul-less films, it’s a breath of fresh air to once again feel Tarantino’s pure love of movies. Inglorious Basterds proves that there is still some originality in the film industry. This WW2 fantasy is brutal and gruesome but at the same time emotional and dramatic. The characters are deep and rich, and all have something to offer to the development of the plot. This film is great, and a real tribute to classic war and western movies. Don’t miss this one, in fact go see it right now, close your web browser, grab your keys and go see Inglorious Basterds, you wont regret it.

Standing at 7 inches tall these wonderfully detailed figures created by Neca are based on Tim Burton’s new film 9, which is based on Shane Acker’s Oscar-winning short film also named 9. Confusing? Maybe. But what isn’t confusing is how these figures turned out so well. Neca has created some amazing designs from 300, to Alien vs Predator. Now they can add 9 to that list. Characters 9 and 1 are in the first series.
The NC Take: These two guys are kinda hard to find in stores right now, but that should change soon as the film is sure to be a hit. Great detail, nice size and cool accessories. Necessary for toy collectors and Tim Burton nuts, Very Cool for the rest of us.
